We are not your local gym.  Our fitness program builds from the ground up to help you achieve a flexible and fit body.
How it works
A FAST Fitness ProgramTM begins with an overall assessment which includes a posture analysis to identify problems with your basic posture, a body composition and a metabolic test, strength, flexibility and balance evaluations and a gait analysis to pinpoint gait problems. After the assessment you and your trainer will design a workout geared towards your fitness goals.

A typical FAST Fitness ProgramTM workout will include unweighted work on a treadmill emphasizing forward, backward and lateral movement, vibration platform training to increase strength and metabolic rate, stretching and core strengthening exercisers. These workouts emphasize maximum result in minimum time and are designed to last 30 min to 1 hour, 2-3 times a week.. Many participants have reported increased muscle tone, higher energy, weight loss and an increase sense of health and well- being.

Who trains for Fitness at FASTER Center Sandpoint?
TJ Larson is the head trainer. He is fully trained and certified by Pneumex. TJ has the knowledge and training to design a FAST Fitness ProgramTM based on the individual needs. He is also joined by Steve Tyson a Pneumex trained and experienced assistant. If health issue arises Dr. Tham is available to assist in the workout plan with regards to joint, bone and soft tissue considerations.

Success Stories

Barb had extreme difficulty in walking more than a few hundred feet; she was suffering from pre menopausal symptoms and was very ridged. She started her fitness training six months ago. Her body has improved its flexibility and stamina. She can walk comfortably and has shown a reduction in weight, hot flashes and osteoporosis.

Jenn is a avid runner and started training 1 year ago. At the 2 month mark in her training she ran a biathlon. She and her partner came in first in their age group.

John when back surgery ended his competitive sport days. He thought he would never be able to participate in any sports. After completing a FAST Fitness ProgramTM he went cross country skiing with no pain or injuries.

Desi went through the 9 week program right before her track season and broke the IEL meet record in the 400 meters.

Jessie is an underclassman who went through 2 nine week programs made the HS varsity volleyball team
